LOS ANGELES -- A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the beating of a transgender woman in May on Hollywood Boulevard, police said Wednesday night.
The Los Angeles Police Department said that a male suspect had been taken into custody on suspicion of taking part in the early morning attack on May 31 near Vine Street.
Detectives have said four men were involved in the beating of the woman identified by authorities as Vivian.
The woman suffered broken bones and internal injuries and spent a week in the hospital, police said.
