Over the past year, television has played an even bigger role in many of our lives than ever, and more people are turning to their screens for entertainment and connection in hard times. We at GLAAD know how important it is for meaningful LGBTQ stories to be told on screens.

While it is unclear at this point whether San Diego Pride's 2021 signature events will be held in-person, virtually, or as a hybrid of the two, the organization is moving forward with its planning and programming regardless of the scenario. As planning moves forward, Pride leaders today announced that this year's theme will be "Resilient."

Small business owners and representatives from around San Diego are invited to participate in a virtual forum this Friday, Jan. 15 from 12 noon to 1 pm to discuss the government's response to COVID-19.
