SDGLN Poll: How do readers think the Supreme Court will run in marriage cases?

SAN DIEGO – A plurality of the readers of San Diego Gay & Lesbian News who took our poll say they think that the U.S. Supreme Court will make sweeping rulings for marriage equality in 2013.

The Supreme Court on Dec. 7 agreed to take up two cases: DOMA and Proposition 8

Our poll question was: How will the Supreme Court rule on Prop 8 and DOMA?

The results, which are not scientific, reveal that 49% of readers think the nation’s high court will make sweeping rulings for marriage equality, 39% believe the justices will take the cautious road and grant partial victory, and 11% fear the Supreme Court will deal a setback for marriage equality.

The new SDGLN Reader Poll question asks readers: Will America finally get serious about gun control?
