SAN DIEGO – Hillcrest is one of the most livable, lively communities in San Diego, but it is not without its transportation problems.
How is it getting in and out of Hillcrest? Do we have too many cars and too little pedestrians? What is the walkability factor? How is accessibility? How are we going to accommodate for the future? What can be improved? What will it take?
Daunting questions such as these will be addressed during a lecture on “Hillcrest 2.0: Charting the Future of Hillcrest” by Sherry Ryan of San Diego State University. The event, sponsored by the Hillcrest Business Improvement Association, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Baja Betty’s, 1421 University Ave.
Reservations are not required, but a courtesy RSVP is requested by sending a note to Benjamin@hillcrestbia.org.
