(BALBOA PARK) On Monday, February 1 at 6:30 p.m.Councilmember Todd Gloria will present of his first State of District Three address. The event will take place in the Old Globe’s Conrad Prebys Theatre.
“Good public service requires constant communication and dialogue, and the State of the District is an important means for reflection on the past year and planning for the year ahead,” said Gloria.
Among that night’s topics will include notable progress and challenges relating to Gloria’s first year in office as well as a highlight of the issues facing the community in 2010. In addition, the impact of the City’s continuing budget situation as it relates to District Three, public safety, infrastructure and the importance of public transit will be discussed.
“The accomplishments of 2009 were possible because of community input, and I rely on continued public partnership to make even greater progress in 2010,” said Gloria.
The councilmember’s comments will be accompanied by a visual presentation, and light refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the evening.
All members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
