WEST HOLLYWOOD -- The City of West Hollywood has launched the next phase of its campaign to engage, educate and enroll eligible community members for health care insurance. The “Uncovered” campaign features specially-designed images to reach out in a targeted way to the West Hollywood community.
"We wanted outreach materials that would be slightly edgy and would get people’s attention to help ensure that as many West Hollywood residents as possible can secure health care coverage,” said Mayor Abbe Land, who is also a longtime health care advocate.
"Many in our community are already covered either through private insurance or government programs, but we also have a large population of young adults who are working in jobs or industries that don’t always provide consistent or comprehensive coverage,” Land said. "We want to make sure that all of our community members have access to all the information and support they need to make the most informed decisions possible when it comes to their health insurance."
The City says it is committed to providing resources and education opportunities for its residents.
