Get a LIFE: Beauty minerals

What do you think of when you hear the word beauty? Is it simply an outer experience or does it encompass our inner space, as well?

Physical beauty is first and foremost related to our inner attitude towards life, but without high quality foods and essential beauty minerals, the internal organs get stagnant and the skin looses its luster.

Common Warning Signs

Dark circles under the eyes -- This usually indicates adrenal fatigue, which can be caused by excessive stress or the over consumption of coffee and sugar.

Acne -- Usually communicates that the liver, colon and gallbladder are having a hard time processing.

Processing problems could be caused by general, low quality eating, the intake of rancid oil / nut / animal foods, and excessive environmental toxins; such as cleaning products, plastic residue, infested water, etc.

Tired skin -- The skin takes on the external feel of the internal body. When the skin looses its radiance, its usually a sign of missing Omega 3's, essential minerals, and lack of Vitamin D from the sun.

How to Cultivate Radiance

First, increase your silicon intake.

Silicon can transform into calcium and increases bone mineral density, which nourishes blood vessels, bones, cartilage, connective tissue, hair, ligaments, lymph nodes, nails, skin, and teeth, and helps prevent cavities and bleeding gums.

If silicon is not present, you’ll notice poor skin, weak bones, dental cavities, brittle hair/nails, more cavities, brittle hair/nails, and weak tendons/ligaments.

Food sources of silicon include horesetail, nettles, oatstraw, radish, romaine lettuce, marjoram, cucumbers, red bell peppers, tomatoes, and oats.

Second, infuse more sulfur into your meals.

Sulfur is a potent mineral containing glucosamine, which nourishes joint fluids and builds/nurtures bones, tendons, nails, and skin. It's also found in amino acids methionine, taurine, cysteine, and cystine, which protect the body against heavy metals and radiation.

If sulfur is missing, you’ll be prone to more acne, arthritis, brittle nails, GI issues, scar tissue, and slow wound healing.

Eat more arugula, cabbage, broccoli, Brussel sprouts, garlic, onions, hemp seeds, kale, mustard leaves, nasturtium, onions, pumpkin seeds, radishes, spirulina, and watercress.
