Get a LIFE: Need an immunity boost?

When the workplace, school, or your home world is swirling with potential yuckies, it is time to boost your immunity to ensure your body stays protected.

If you do end up getting sick, many of the protocols below will support you in a quick turnaround back to vitality.

Simple Clean Food: When you feel under the weather, it is best to stick to unprocessed, simple foods, so the body can use less energy to break down food and more energy to support you in healing. Avoid sugar, coffee, and processed junk. Add in cooked veggies, clean fish, and soaked - then cooked - whole grains.

Hydrate: Stay hydrated with herbal teas (nettle boosts immunity) clean water, and coconut water. Add a splash of apple cider vinegar to your morning water to help alkalize the system.

Garlic Power: Slice up some raw garlic, dip in raw honey and chew. The juice of the garlic is a natural antibiotic. Start small and skip date night.

Elderberry: Conventional cough syrups are loaded with odd sweeteners, foreign ingredients and only cover up surface symptoms. Elderberries are full of vitamins and immune system-boosting properties.

Vitamin C: This well-known vitamin did not originate in the processed powder people add to their liquid drinks. You are better off eating a red bell pepper, papaya, lemon, or adding some broccoli to your day, to get the proper absorbable amount of C needed to help increase your white blood cell production.

Sleep: Sleep is vital when the body is trying to heal. If you are having trouble sleeping, use calms forte, a homeopathic sleep support, or a soothing tea to help ensure at least eight hours of restorative sleep.
