Eating Healthy during the waning days of the pandemic isn't always easy. With the vaccine not far off and outbreak numbers returning to normal, we can see the end of these difficult times, but that's no reason to shake off good habits you've cultivated.
 
Good ideas to continue being healthy including doing your best to eat nourishing meals, rich in fruits and vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains. You can obviously find those at the farmers marker this weekend. Also, cut down on foods that ramp up anxiety, such as sugar, caffeine, and alcohol. It’s important to enjoy small treats, but avoid going overboard. Overindulging can lead to increased anxiety or sluggishness. If you're feeling the urge to “stress snack”? Acknowledge your cravings, then take two or three deep breaths and ask yourself if you’re really hungry or just passing the time.
