This over the top drag pageant that raises funds for The Center is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16!
(Editor's note: "Tantrums and Tiaras: Battle of the Bar Queens 2020" returns on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Observatory North Park. The show is an over-the-top drag competition where representatives from some of the community’s bars with little or no drag experience compete for the crown. The event benefits the programs of The San Diego LGBT Community Center. Leading up to the event, we will profile the six contestants, but you'll have to buy tickets and go the show to find out their drag name and see them in full make-up! More information and tickets can be purchased HERE. View the other contestants we've profiled this year HERE.)
Contestant Name: Richard Trinidad

I'm a pastry chef/chef so my life revolves around food ... and drag queens. My closest friends all work as queens.
First time in drag?
Yes! I've never worn heels, makeup, or a dress.
What are you most excited about?
Being cinched in a girdle and having a 34" waist for the first time since middle school.
What are you most nervous about?
My hooves. My pinky toe is already dead. I'm so afraid to fall.
Why are YOU going to win Tantrums & Tiaras?
I'm really just trying to have fun and laugh. I think I'll have everyone having a good time and that will win them over.
