Aka Justin Johnson, Alyssa owns a dance studio which empowers youth one wig at a time.
Forget "Dance Moms," there a new instructor in town and she's a lot more fierce and twice as inspirational.
Justin Johnson, aka Alyssa Edwards, is coming to Netflix in a new reality series called "Dancing Queens" and it's as funny as it is heartfelt.
Having spent time on reality TV under the guidance of RuPaul in Drag Race, Johnson is bringing his talents and inspiration to the kids in his hometown of Mesquite, Texas.
The docu-series will follow Johnson at his Beyond Belief Dance Company in the Lone Star state, as he tries to juggle his dance life, drag life, family life, and most of all, his love life.
Will his team of students prevail for an intensely competitive season on the dance circuit?
You can find out on October 5, 2019, when "Dancing Queen" is scheduled to premiere on Netflix.
