The sexy frontman has identified himself as straight in the past.
Although Panic! at the Disco's frontman, Brendon Urie has admitted to experimenting with both men and women in the past, he has identified himself as straight. But in a new interview from Paper Magazine, he says he is more than that.
“I’m married to a woman and I’m very much in love with her,” he says, “but I’m not opposed to a man because to me, I like a person.”
He says that his preference might qualify him as pansexual, "If a person is great, then a person is great. I just like good people, if your heart’s in the right place. I’m definitely attracted to men. It’s just people that I am attracted to.”
Brendon also discusses being "stage gay" and "barsexual." The former is a term he coined for messing around with his bandmates, kissing them on stage during a concert. The latter is something he says happens when he and friends hang out and, "after five or six beers we're just kind of like smooching on each other. People just get hammered and fool around." He apologizes for using that term.
"People get offended by that," he explains. "I've said things without thinking about it — not trying to be offensive. I need to apologize for that. I'm of the, it's not what people say it's what they do and who they are."
Today the sexy singer has embraced who he is and come out publically announcing, “I guess, this is me coming out as pansexual.”
