The young singer and actor is taking the music industry by storm.
Prepare to get Wild, Troye Sivan is getting ready to “Bloom” for America’s Finest City on Thursday, October 25.
The 20-year-old openly gay provocative pop star and Australian native is touring the world to promote his new album “Bloom” and he doesn’t want San Diego to miss out. He will be joined by special guests Kim Petras and Carlie Hanson.
Sivan came into the public eye and gained a following as a contestant on televised talent shows, then increased his fanbase thanks to his popular YouTube channel.
It wasn’t until 2014 that he began a successful singing career with the song TRXYE which scored big on the Billboard 100. After that “Happy Little Pill” danced up the charts before he dropped his first studio album Blue Neighbourhood which produced the top 40 hit “Youth.”
The multi-talented artist then took the role as a young Wolverine in the 2009 origin film, before collaborating with fellow online personality Tyler Oakley for the video "The 'Boyfriend' Tag.”
Recently Troye added a soundtrack to his list of duties, his song ‘Strawberries & Cigarettes” was featured in the motion picture Love, Simon.
It’s no wonder Time Magazine named him one of the most influential teens of 2014.
Recently he sang a duet with Ariana Grande called “Dance to This,” following that up with “My My My” and finally the titular song to his upcoming album to be released in late August, “Bloom.”
You can see the newly released video to that song below.
Troye’s smooth synth beats are as sleek as silk, with the vocals to match. He’s proud to call himself a gay artist but that’s beside the point. Troye is sowing the seeds of a beautiful musical career and his song “Bloom” only proves he’s not pruning the branches, but allowing them to blossom into pop music's exclusive spray of exquisite and colorful icons.
