You may be able to spot Tom Cruise in San Diego for a little while.
People have reported seeing him this week. He is apparently getting back into the cockpit for the sequel the 1986 blockbuster “Top Gun.”
The star posted a picture of himself standing on the tarmac with the hashtag #Day1 on Instagram. The movie, titled “Top Gun: Maverick” is scheduled for a summer 2019 release.
Cruise captioned the post, “feel the need,” which is the short form of his famous line “I feel the need, the need for speed" from the first film.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the star on Thursday re-enacting his motorcycle scene down the center of a landing strip according to ABC 10.
The location is reportedly at the Naval Air Station North Island on Coronado.
Cruise was only 24 when he made the original film which jetted him into the Hollywood elite.
