In what may have been the most shocking industry decision in history, the top-rated “Roseanne” reboot was canceled by ABC yesterday because star Roseanne Barr tweeted out a salient racist comment against a former Obama advisor of color.

However, the star says she may not have been in control of her actions, alluding that she took an Ambien and it might have clouded her judgment.

"Guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me," she tweeted to her devotees. "It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but...don't defend it please. ty" she tweeted late Tuesday night.'

Later, she referenced radio host Joe Rogan who will interview her on Friday.

“I think Joe Rogan is right about ambien. Not giving excuses for what I did(tweeted) but I've done weird stuff while on ambien-cracked eggs on the wall at 2am etc –“

At first Barr defended her tweet in which she called Obama advisor and woman of color Valerie Jarrett, muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj,”

But later her words seemed apologetic, especially after ABC pulled the plug on her show, leaving cast members, writers and other crew members without a job.

"Don't feel sorry for me, guys!!-I just want to apologize to the hundreds of people, and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet. I will be on Joe Rogan's podcast friday."

Then even after she said she was leaving Twitter she was still responding to users on Tuesday night who continued to call her out, "It is true, your whole life you benefited from racism. Shame on your ignorant views," said Brian De Matos.

Barr's response, "Intersectionality is bad."

The comedienne not only lost her new show on Tuesday, but Viacom and Hulu halted reruns of her old one and talent agency ICM Partners dropped her as a client.
