Her new album "Definition" is due to be released this year.
Christina Aguilera is getting ready to release her first album in six years and she teased fans at her appearance in Azerbaijan over the weekend.
A teaser for the track titled “Liberation” was played before she came on stage in which the songstress narrates in a voice-over, “X, X-tina, exhale, explore, express, experiment, exploit, exclusive, exist, expire. My existence has no expiration. This is my liberation. This is our liberation. Be liberated with me. It’s time for a liberation!”
Even though the singer hasn’t released an album since 2012’s Lotus, the 37-year-old has been very busy. After the Pulse nightclub tragedy, she dedicated the song “Change” to the victims and to Christina Grimmie who was fatally shot the day before the mass shooting.
She also wrote a song titled “Telepathy” for the Netflix original series The Get Down which has since been canceled. She was also a voice talent in The Emoji Movie and will star in the upcoming sci-fi film Zoe.
Xtina also left her longtime coaching gig at The Voice after season 10 in 2016. The icon also joined RuPaul in the Werk Room and the judging panel in the season 10 premiere of Drag Race.
Definition, her eighth studio album, will be released sometime in 2018. You can watch the teaser captured by a fan below.
