In a recent interview with Hollywood Life Magazine, Aaron Carter says he didn’t want his bisexual coming out story to me “misconstrued” by the media.

Last August Carter took to Twitter to announce that he was bisexual, “I grew up in this entertainment industry at a very young age and when I was around 13-year-old I started to find boys and girls attractive,” he wrote.

Although he didn’t name names he referred to one relationship when he was 17-years-old, ”I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with.”

However, in his interview for Hollywood Life, after he was questioned about possibly having a relationship with a man in the future, he said:

“Yeah, no. It was more so just a story that happened when I was like 17 with somebody, and I can find men and women attractive, but when it comes down to it, I think it was a little misconstrued. I see myself being with a woman and having kids. I want to have a family.”

He added “I keep telling people that. I don’t want it to be misconstrued too much just because I was open about a story.”

Carter,30, performed live in San Diego at Rich’s Nightclub two years ago. His album LøVë recently dropped on streaming services.
