What is normally a tourist destination for travelers around the world wanting to see the markers for people such as Marilyn Monroe and John Wayne, on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was of even more interest to Resist March, nee LA Pride,  participants who visited Donald Trump’s this past weekend.

This trek to former reality stary-turned president's marker was to place stickers all over the sidewalk on top of the brass award in protest over his current anti-LGBT political climate.

Queerty posted a picture of the vandalized monument which contained stickers reading, “Dissent. Don’t Relent,” and “Resist Homophobia/Transphobia/Misogyny/Racism/Ableism”.

Over the past year, Trump’s star has been defaced more than once, one person taking a jackhammer to it last December.

The White House is not acknowledging Pride month, LGBT people, or anything which makes reference to them politically.

Instead, at the beginning of the month, Trump’s daughter Ivanka tweeted her support of LGBT people.

And as Queerty points out, the White House website completely eliminated any reference to it being Pride Month.

Instead, recognizing June as:

“National Homeownership Month,” “African-American Music Appreciation Month,” “National Caribbean-American Heritage Month,” “National Ocean Month,” and “Great Outdoors Month.”

Additionally, Trump tweeted today, "We will NEVER FORGET the victims who lost their lives one year ago today in the horrific #PulseNightClub shooting. #OrlandoUnitedDay" causing a whole firestorm across social media.
