Holiday entertainment in Hillcrest has always been top-notch and Martinis Above Fourth (MA4) has consistently booked A-list headliners who bring their gifts to San Diego whether it be musical, comedic or anything in-between.

This year is no different. All through the month of December Martinis Above Fourth will showcase some of the biggest names in the community as they ring in the holidays with their signature style.

"All American Boy," Steve Grand will start the holidays off on November 30 through December 1, as he comes to the MA4 stage treating audiences to some of his original songs as well a few of his personal favorites. Last year Grand released a holiday-themed video “All I want For Christmas (Is You).”

Following Grand on Dec. 6 through Dec. 8, will be The Kinsey Sicks in “Oy Vey in the Manger,” starring Rachel, Winnie, Trixie and Trampolina as they provide a special adult twist to the holiday spirit. Their comedic adventures include songs titled, “God Bless Ye Femmy Lesbians,” and “I’m Dreaming of a Betty White Christmas.”

On Dec. 15, Randy Robert’s will bring his cast of impersonations to the MA4 stage. Roberts incarnations of Cher and Bette Midler have won audiences over for over 20-years. He also brings to life Mae West and Gypsy Rose Lee in a comic tribute to burlesque.

Perhaps one of the most respected stand-up artists in the community is Leslie Jordan. His honest one-man show is both funny and heartfelt, giving audiences anecdotes from his long career in show biz.

Jordan’s “Stra?ght Outta Chattanooga,” will run on Wednesday, Dec. 21 through Dec. 22.

Finishing out 2016 at MA4 is American Idol’s Rayvon Owens. Earlier this year Owens released the music video for his single “Can’t Fight It,” which also helped him come out publicly.

Owens will ring in the New Year with Hillcrest on Saturday, Dec. 31 for two shows, one at 5:30 pm and the other at 9 pm.

Whether you are staying in San Diego for the holidays, or friends and family are coming here to enjoy the temperate winter climate, there is always something amazing to experience at Martinis Above Fourth.

The gift of entertainment is something they will always remember and there is no better place in which to give it to them.
