As Halloween approaches so too does the long list of offensive costumes available either online or at pop-up retail stores.

One such costume called the “Tranny Granny” was until recently sold at Walmart.com, but  has been removed because it violates company policy.

SDGLN’s media partner The Huffington Post was able to take a screen grab of the get-up before it was deleted from the super-retail chain (see left).

Here is a description of what buyers can expect when it arrives:

"All the guys will be dressing up as superheroes and princes, but you will stand out among the rest in this hilarious Granny Men’s Costume!

The costume includes a white tank dress with pink collar and colorful flowers all over as well as curvaceous butt and boob pads to complete the look.

This granny wouldn’t go anywhere without her pink babushka with flower design headband to keep her hair perfectly in place.

Slap on some makeup and get ready for your granny walk and you will have the room roaring with laughter!

A Walmart PR official gave a statement about their position on the company selling the costume, and why they suddenly removed it from their available choices.

“This was a third party marketplace item,” Ravi Jariwala told LGBTQNation. “While it’s listed on other sites, it clearly violates our policy and was quickly removed once we were notified. We’re appalled this seller put it on our site to begin with.”

SDGLN did a search on Amazon for the costume, which was live yesterday, but appears to have been removed.

Just a year ago, Halloween costumes came under cultural fire when the Caitlyn Jenner costume allowed men to mock the Olympic winner’s cover of Vanity Fair, complete with dress, and wig.
