Thursday night is the inaugural Uptown Outlaw event at Uptown Tavern. Plus a craft beer circus and a Black Party at Rich's all happening this week.
There’s a new Thursday night sheriff in town: Uptown Outlaw at Uptown Tavern on April 7 (and every Thursday after that). The direct spiritual successor of the infamous Wet at Bourbon Street (later, Numbers) night, this event hopes to fill that very same void on the weekly social calendar.

Featuring a strip tease contest (think Wet without the water) with over $500 in cash and prizes, hot cowboy go go boys, a White Party themed fashion show by Mankind, and a cowboy cocksucker shot contest, the opening night will be hosted by Johnathan Hale and Erica Foxx.
They will also be giving away tickets to RuPaul’s Drag Race at the Observatory Theatre in North Park on April 24.
Craft Brew Circus at Liberty Station
If you’re a beer fan, then this Saturday afternoon you are going to want to check out the Craft Beer Circus as it makes its first stop of the year at Liberty Station:
“Craft Brew Circus is the combination of two Southern California Brew Festivals. One is the ultra successfulI-15 Brew Festival and the other is the popular brew festival within the Orange County Food, Wine & Music Festival. Both of these events are produced by EventWerks and we took the best elements of both and blended them together to create Craft Brew Circus.
Craft Brew Circus will take things to another level traveling to four beachfront locations in 2016, seeing more craft breweries participating and more entertainment than ever before.”
