LOS ANGELES -- Pop singer and dancer Jessi Malay, fresh off her well-received performances in San Diego last weekend during Pride, has just released her new music video for her hit song “Bougie.”
Malay’s new single has been the buzz of dance clubs and is being played on radio stations nationwide.
While in San Diego, Malay performed at the Pride Festival, Martinis Above Fourth in Hillcrest and Bourbon Street in University Heights.
She is currently recording her debut album, touring the club circuit across the country and abroad, promoting her new fashion site “My White T” and celebrating the success of her new single, “Bougie.”
Last week, Malay told San Diego Gay & Lesbian News about how much fun she had making of the music video.
"Making the music video for 'Bougie' was one of the most exciting experiences of my life. It was the perfect opportunity to show the world who I am as an artist and I think it does just that," she said.
"The video show cases some of the hottest fashions, cutting-edge dance moves, and a few other fun surprises that are not to be missed! I had the unique opportunity of working with the best production team out there; it was an absolute dream to watch them help bring to life this concept we worked so hard on. Everyone from the director to the dancers and our glam squad was amazing and I just can’t wait until you get to see it. It was a lot of fun to create and I hope the fans love it as much as I do!"
