VIDEO: GLAAD's What To Watch on Tuesday

Tonight catch the new documentary "American Transgender," Rachel and Kurt audition for NYADA on "Glee" and new episodes of "The Voice," "Private Practice," "The L.A. Complex" and "Fashion Star."

8 pm: American Transgender on National Geographic (1 hr) NEW

A new documentary about three individuals - Jim Howley ("Transamerican Love Story"), his fiancé Clair Farley ("Red Without Blue") and Eli Strong - who identify as a transgender. Each character will tell their story through glimpses of their daily lives. Watch a preview of Eli's story HERE and visit National Geographic to see profiles of Jim and Clair.

8 pm: Glee on Fox (1 hr) NEW

Kurt and Rachel audition for admittance to the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts; Coach Beiste shares a secret about she and Cooter Menkins' relationship; and Puck makes a decision about his own future after a meeting with his estranged father. 9 pm: The L.A. Complex on CW (1 hr) NEW

Tariq gets the chance to work with infamous rapper Kaldrick King; Alicia attends a Hollywood party and makes a connection with a former star; and Abby and Raquel compete at auditions.

9 pm: The Voice on NBC (1 hr) NEW

The final four vocalists are announced in an elimination show with performances by season one finalists Beverly McClellan and Vicci Martinez.

10 pm: Private Practice on ABC (1 hr) NEW

Cooper and Violet work with a gender non-conforming young child in therapy; and an illegal immigrant attempts to induce labor so her child will be born in America.

10 pm: Fashion Star on NBC (1 hr) NEW

Designers are challenged to create a brand imaging campaign for their lines using input and advice from the celebrity mentors.

This morning and afternoon, check your local listings for information about Ellen, The Nate Berkus Show, The Talk (CBS) and The Chew (ABC). Days of Our Lives on NBC (check local listings for time) features gay character Will as a series regular; keep an eye out for developments between Will and recurring gay characters Sonny and Neil.
