Be sure to check out Eden this Saturday for EDMEN, Eden's new all-EDM event.
The night will feature Grammy-nominated DJ Stonebridge along with a special performance by Krista Richards. DJ Rich B and Hellium will be spinning the opening sets.
In addition to the always hot Eden go-go boys, there will be environmentally conscious special giveaways from Green Smart Livings throughout the night. And SDPIX will be in the house, giving out VIP memberships ... if your old driver's license has expired and you need another of those silver stickers on the back, well here's a golden opportunity to get yourself another!
Also, Kristin Doving and Davina Kostiana Love will be there, both celebrating their birthdays! They will be debarking at Eden from a Hillcrest Hot Messes party bus, which means they should be in a particularly festive mood when they arrive.
Tickets to EDMEN can be purchased in advance HERE for $20 ($5 off the at-door cover price). Check out a sneak peak of what to expect at the bottom of this column.

Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show with headliner Scott Silverman at Martinis Above Fourth
San Diego’s only comedy show geared toward the LGBT community marks its first anniversary tonight (Thursday, April 12) with local LGBT comedians Chet Sewell, Sarah Burford and Sean Wherley, local "allied" comic Kate Lee, and Los Angeles-based gay headliner Scott Silverman coming together for another edition of Laugh Out Proud at Martinis Above Fourth.
Silverman has appeared on Comedy Central’s Out There 2, A&E’s An Evening at The Improv, and Logo’s Wisecrack comedy series. He has opened several times for Margaret Cho on her tour, performed at the Montreal Just for Laugh’s Festival, and was a finalist in the San Francisco Comedy Competition.
The show charges a $5 cover, and is ages 21 and older. Guests are invited to come early for drinks and dinner in the lounge setting of Martinis Above Fourth. Reservations are strongly encouraged and may be made by calling 619-400-4500 or visiting the Martinis website here. All other seating is first come, first served.
Laugh Out Proud Comedy Show is produced by San Diego comedians Sean Wherley and Sarah Burford, and is designed to showcase the region’s top LGBT and allied comedians in a gay friendly environment.
And there's a couple of very talented people we're lucky to have in town this Friday the 13th that I want to give quick shout outs to: First, Eric Himan will be performing live at Bourbon Street, promoting his new DVD Under the Ink, Live! That show gets underway at 7 pm. And then later in the evening, DJ Dan DeLeon will be coming down from LA to spin the main room at Rich's for Circuit Pop, along with DJ Will Z in the front room. It's also a release party for Madonna's single Girl Gone Wild, from her new album MDMA.
Last week's events
Last weekend, as you all know, was the massive White Party 2012 music festival out in Palm Springs. As those of you who there can attest, attendance records this year were shattered. Consequently we here at SDPIX were quite busy, taking over 600 photos at four of the major events there that weekend: The Boxers and Briefs Party on Friday, the Saturday Splash Pool Party, the main WP3D Party on Saturday at the Palm Springs Convention Center featuring a live performance by Mary J. Blige, and the Under the Big Top Tea Dance on Sunday. You can check those photos out (plus new albums from Numbers and Rich's) on our new albums page, and fully tag-able albums on our Facebook page as well. Happy viewing!
