Pride: Together Again art exhibition scheduled for Friday

Community members are invited to the 2021 Art of Pride – Pride: Together Again art opening on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 6-9 pm at the San Diego Pride Office.

This is a live, in-person, on-site exhibition of the works of LGBTQ artists and their allies celebrating The Spirit of our Resilient LGBTQ Community. This is a free event hosted by Art of Pride and San Diego Pride.

Popular artist Joe Phillips has created the Pride Pin Up project and you can be a part of it!

Phillips is drawing beautiful portraits of community members over the Pride Progress Flag and they are available digitally to share on social media or elsewhere.

As California gears up for its re-opening on June 15, San Diego's oldest gay bar, The Rail (formerly The Brass Rail), has announced that it will resume operations on Thursday, June 17.

Cartoon Network celebrates Pride Month!

Cartoon Network is honoring Pride Month with a series of videos and posts to celebrate LGBTQ children and families.

The network says the campaign's goal are "recognizing amazing youth and families in the LGBTQIA+ community and the ways they express themselves fully and authentically through various forms of personal self-expression."

FilmOut San Diego to host in-person festival this year

FilmOut San Diego recently announced that they will host an in-person festival this year, scheduled for Sept. 10-12, 2021. The organization was unable to hold a live festival in 2020 and early 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
