SAN DIEGO -- Laugh Out Proud, a comedy show geared towards the LGBT community, will return to Martinis Above Fourth tonight, for an evening featuring an all-LGBT comedian lineup.
Local comedians Sarah Burford and Sean Wherley and popular Los Angeles-based comics Paul Case and Matina Bevis will share the stage with evening's headliner Chantal Carrere.
Carrere’s credits are numerous, including being named one of the funniest lesbian comedians in America by Curve magazine; she was a finalist in the Laugh Across America comedy contest; was a two-time winner of the Russian River Comedy Competition; and had a starring role in "Hot Comics" on here TV!
Laugh Out Proud is produced by Wherley and Burford, and is designed to showcase the region’s top LGBT and allied comedians in a safe environment for the LGBT community.
The 8 pm show has no cover charge, and is open to those ages 21 and older. Guests are invited to come early for drinks and dinner at setting of Martinis Above Fourth, located at 3940 Fourth Avenue, Suite 200 in Hillcrest.
