Theater Review: “Matilda, the Musical”

“Matilda, the Musical” plays through August 3, 2019 at the Moonlight Amphitheatre, 1200 Vale Terrace Drive in Vista.

Broadway San Diego brings “Miss Saigon” back through July 14 at San Diego Civic Theatre.

"50 Years of Fabulous" is presented by FilmOut at the Hillcrest Cinemas - Landmark Theatres on July 10 at 7 pm.

This is a special year for LGBT Pride. It's been 50 years of protest which led to steady progress. But that didn't happen overnight. The Millenials, the Gen Y-ers, and all the alphanumeric generations to come still have a hard road ahead, but if they don't examine the painful history of their freedom, they, as the saying goes, might be doomed to repeat it.
