This will be the first major event to be held inside The Center's main building since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are delighted to share that The Center is hosting our beloved Come Home For The Holidays event in person this year! For the first time in 20 months, we will gather together safely at The Center's main facility for this iconic festive event to celebrate the holidays, our community, and so much more.
Please join us at The Center on Saturday, December 11th from 4pm - 6pm to enjoy:
- A catered meal from Gossip Grill restaurant in Hillcrest that you can take to go or eat gathered together in community
- Festive holiday music
- Every attendee will leave with a bag of non-perishable groceries to fill up their pantry or share with others
- Free giveaways and resources from our partner organizations like Diversionary Theatre, UCSD HNRC (HIV Neurobehavioral Research Center), Medical Center Pharmacy, and PFLAG San Diego County.
- Masks are required for this event
Due to COVID-19 safety protocols and his busy schedule at the North Pole, Santa won’t be able to join us this year, but thanks to our friends at Blue Shield of California Promise, Cox Communications, and Council President Pro Tempore Whitburn, every child, or guardian of a child, will receive a gift card to choose their own special holiday gift.
Note: children do not need to be present to receive a gift card, but they must sign up in advance through the RSVP form here or below.
