It's a "no bad days" kind of cause.
There are many people in the world doing amazing things.
And there is a new movement in San Diego that hopes to bring a little light and love to those personalities, it's called "Lift Up San Diego."
This campaign wants to emphasize the good that people do whether it's giving back to the community, relaying a positive message or simply spreading joy.
Hale Media publisher Johnathan Hale formed the Facebook group in hopes to build a space where people can be celebrated.
"Friends, I created this page for those of you that wish to share your positive stories, messages of affirmation, and goodwill," he writes in the page introduction.
So far many people have shared their uplifting stories and inspirational words of acceptance with others.
The posts can come from a personal expression of gratitude, a kind word for someone else, or in the form of a feel-good quote.
"Words have the power to lift people up or tear them down, " the Lift Up San Diego page reads, quoting Rabbi Mark Miller. "Words can celebrate the wonders of life, comfort the grieving, inspire with hope and make someone’s day. And words can do tremendous damage. Lift Up San Diego is a place where you can share your positive stories, messages of affirmation, and goodwill."
