The CA officials toured the kitchen and discussed ways to help the homeless.
As they recently passed the 1.2 million meals served from that kitchen they were recently visited by California Governor Gavin Newsom and California Senate President pro Tempore Toni G. Atkins.
Together with The Urban Taste's Chef Brian Jackson and co-founder, Brian Jinings, both Newsom, and Atkins discussed San Diego’s homeless problem and how non-profits and small business collaborations can help solve the issue.
In a social media post, Jinings said the project is a case-study and he would like to expand the structure beyond San Diego.
