Whether you have a green thumb or not the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden could use your help. They are currently accepting volunteers, novice or experienced, to join the Rose Garden Corps.

Volunteers work in the garden trimming off dead blooms, weeding, raking, fertilizing, pruning and planting new varieties.

Last year, McKrae Game, a once highly ranked advocate and founder of Hope for Wholeness, a conversion therapy program was fired, came out as gay and shunned the method in an interview by The Post and Courier

There are many people in the world doing amazing things. 

And there is a new movement in San Diego that hopes to bring a little light and love to those personalities, it's called "Lift Up San Diego."

Beloved community member Darius Maleknia sadly passed away at the end of January. He had many friends who are heartbroken upon hearing of his death. 

There is even a public Facebook group in which you can post your own memories and photos of Darius. 

For over nine years San Diego's catering and meal prep company The Urban Taste has provided 100% of the foodservice (non-profit) for the Connections Housing Center. 

Today the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing adopted statewide rules protecting LGBTQ minors from conversion therapy, the harmful practice which seeks to change a young person’s sexual orientation or gender identity.

The community is breathing a sigh of relief as missing person Nick Adams has been found. 

The search spanned throughout Southern California, including San Diego and Long Beach. 

The community has become concerned about the disappearance of Nicholas Brian Engstler, 32, AKA Nick Engstler, AKA Nick Adams.

Nick was last seen in Long Beach, CA, between June and August 2019.

He also has a hearing disability but uses American Sign Language (ASL). Nick is a part of the LGBT community. 

The Consolidated Association of Pride, Inc. (CAPI) conference brings together Prides and LGBTQ-serving organizations from across the western United States of America and Mexico.
