For five decades, San Diego Pride has been there for our LGBTQ community in times of protest and celebration and as someone who supports our festival you who have helped to fund all of our successes.

Isolation can be a relentless enemy for our LGBTQ seniors, especially during the Governor's Stay-At-Home order, but those who find The Center discover powerful allies. Senior Services – 50 and Better Together – strives to create a safe space where those 50 years and “better” have access to important resources and referrals regarding health care, social services, and community activities.

Amber St. James, who was crowned San Diego's first-ever Mx. Gay Pride, will be a special guest on radio station KNSJ 89.1 this Sunday, May 3 from 1-2 pm.

On Saturday, May 2, Cutwater Spirits will offer free lunch to San Diego-based colleagues in the restaurant and bar industry who have been effected by the COVID-19 crisis.

Curbside pickup for the meals will be available at Cutwater's Miramar Tasting Room & Kitchen between 12-2 pm. 

A group of senators are calling on the federal government to lift policies restricting gay and bisexual men from giving blood amid a nationwide donation shortage. Currently, men who have sex with men must remain celibate for a year before they are permitted to donate.

With so much uncertainty and so many things changing from day to day, I wanted to take this moment to share with you some of the changes and adaptations we’ve made and how we are moving forward. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted by the mental, emotional, physical, health, and financial damage that has been done by this virus.

The Imperial Court de San Diego has established an emergency fund to assist local community members whose livelihoods have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Over $5,000 worth of grocery store and food gift cards have been purchased or donated for distribution to those in need.

Humanity! is so ready for spring's sunny and warm weather they have decided it would be a good time to have a party!

There will be good vibes, good music, food, and beverages for all who attend.

They also invite you to please bring a non-perishable food item for Mama's Kitchen.

Back in August of 2019 drag artists Barbie Q and Raquel Ita made headlines. They were going to be doing a highly controversial Drag Queen Storytime at the Civic Center Library Chula Vista. 

The performance went on amid protest, but in the end, it was a great success. 

Now Barbie Q and Raquel Ita are back, this time at the Lux Art Institute in Encinitas for Family Art Day.
