San Diego Cruisers Motorcycle Club is a gay founded motorcycle club.
Today San Diego Cruisers Motorcycle Club (SDCMC) is making a special run for a good cause.
At 1:30 pm they will be on a special mission, delivering gifts to two different families chosen by the staff members of Christie's Place.
Rory Chrz, Vice President of SDCMC, says this is a special and important run.
"We are in our ninth year and for the past three years, we have been working within our community to help raise awareness and support twice a year to help other LGBT organizations," he said. "We also had a company who committed to donate $500 directly to Christies Place to help them to continue to supply the important services they provide."
This delivery to Christie's Place contributes to strengthening the health and resilience of women, children, and families impacted by HIV/AIDS.
The motorcycle club is a relatively small group made up of riders from various walks of life.
You don't have to be a gay male or female to join, they simply enjoy riding and strive to create a sense of brotherhood with anyone who enjoys being on a motorcycle.
SDCMC provides riding opportunities for motorcyclists interested in riding in a group setting.
"Our goal is to make sure everyone has an enjoyable ride and we all make it home safely. We value our members as much as we do our bikes!"
The delivery to Christie's Place takes place today at 1:30 pm.
Santa will be arriving on his Harley Softail at 1:30 as well.
