Testing for Tickets program encourages HIV testing, offers free San Diego Pride festival tickets

SAN DIEGO -- Thanks to a grant from San Diego LGBT Pride, local HIV testing programs Lead the Way and The Early Test are offering 250 free one-day San Diego LGBT Pride Festival tickets, between June 19 and July 10, as part of the Testing for Tickets program.

“As excitement builds for this year’s Pride festivities, we want to remind people of the importance of knowing their HIV status, getting tested and using safer sex practices,” said Joshua P. Romero, Lead the Way community outreach manager. “Testing for Tickets is our way of celebrating the LGBT community and providing free, confidential HIV testing in the heart of Hillcrest.”
