Survey seeks to document LGBTQ student success

LANSING, Mich. -- A team of researchers are trying to identify LGBTQ college students who have encountered support for their identities while in school - a change from the body of research that exists describing the negative experiences of LGBTQ students.

The researchers are looking for LGBTQ college students or recent alumni who are willing to share their experiences in an online survey called the National Study of LGBTQ Student Success. Data gathered will help define how colleges and universities can best serve LGBTQ students.

The team coordinating the survey is comprised of researchers from Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, and Miami University (Ohio).

All who participate will be entered to win an iPad. The survey will be open through March 10.
