Queer Pin@y conference to be held Nov. 3 at UCSD

SAN DIEGO -- Registration is open for the annual University of California system-wide Queer Pin@y Conference will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, at University of California San Diego (UCSD).

The event is designed to provide a supportive space to facilitate intersecting dialogues on LGBTQI and Filipino-American issues.

The event, which is held at a rotating University of California campus each year, this year will be themed "Queer Imaginations: Ghost, Cyborgs, Zombies, and Monsters."

The daylong event will include a number of workshops, entertainment, discussions and networking. A special pre-conference session for graduate students only will be held the day before, on Friday, Nov. 2.
