12 Bars of Charity is an SD bar crawl for a good cause

The annual pub crawl began by generating funds benefiting local community charities in St. Louis Missouri.

For five years the 12 Bars of Charity have been raising money by spreading a little cheer throughout local neighborhoods across the country.

San Diego LGBT motorcycle club to deliver gifts to Christie's Place

The San Diego Cruisers Motorcycle Club will deliver a special gift to Christie's Place on Wednesday.

Today San Diego Cruisers Motorcycle Club (SDCMC) is making a special run for a good cause. 

At 1:30 pm they will be on a special mission, delivering gifts to two different families chosen by the staff members of Christie's Place.  

Rory Chrz, Vice President of SDCMC, says this is a special and important run. 

Celebrate diversity with 'Home for the Holiday' at The Center

Home for the Holiday at The Center is on Saturday, December 9, 2017, 5 pm to 8 pm.

The holidays are not just for one specific group of people, it should be celebrated by all the different cultures and that is what the San Diego LGBT Community Center hopes to do on Saturday, December 9.

The sobering image re-released from ACT UP on social media over the weekend is a reminder of the devastation AIDS has had on the LGBT community since its outbreak in the 1980’s. World AIDS Day is on December 1. 

The Imperial Court fed over 600 people in San Diego this Thanksgiving

 Imperial Court de San Diego raises spirits to those who may not have anyone during the holidays.

Every year the Imperial Court de San Diego helps to feed the community during the holidays and this year was no exception. On Thursday both The Court and The San Diego LGBT Community Center (The Center) hosted the 29th Annual Scott Carlson Thanksgiving Community Dinner & Food Drive.

Las Vegas casinos will go red on Dec. 1

The VEgas strip and beyond will go red on December 1 to honor those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Some of Las Vegas’ biggest casinos will go red for World AIDS Day.

Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN) will honor those affected by the disease with events around Las Vegas on December 1.
