The company says their latest campaign exemplifies Hershey's values.
Hershey’s brand chocolate has incorporated a gay couple into their “Say it with a Kiss” ad campaign.
The ad features husbands Josh and Matt Noble of New York City.
The Huffington Post says the two men recently moved in with Josh’s mother to help assist her.
His mother and father never excluded him, he says, and offered nothing but love and support, “Now it’s our chance to do that for her."
Hershey’s Kisses tie into their story because Josh’s mom used to put them in the family stockings at Christmastime when he and his brother were children.
Senior Brand Manager Yussef Kuri told the Huffington Post that the company has always generated lasting memories.
“The Hershey Company and Hershey’s Kisses chocolates bring people together and help to celebrate life’s special moments.”
Kuri goes on to say the latest ad campaign from the chocolatier further exemplifies the heart of the brand.
“Each and every one of these stories are the perfect example of the values and culture that is deeply embedded in our company,” he said.
Milton Hershey began his company over 130 years ago when his now famous cocoa was first made available to the public.
